Sage Cohen is the author of the nonfiction books Fierce on the Page (forthcoming),
Writing the Life Poetic and The Productive Writer, all from Writer’s Digest Books, and the poetry collection Like the Heart, the World from Queen of Wands Press. She has won first place in the Ghost Road Press poetry contest, been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, and
published a variety of articles on the writing life in Writer's Digest magazine, Poet’s
Market, and Writer’s Market. Sage’s poems, essays, and fiction have appeared in a wide range of publications, including: Rattle; Poetry Flash; Hip Mama; The Night, and the Rain, and the River; The Truth of Memoir; Cup of Comfort for Writers; and Oregon Literary Review. In 2012 the Oregonian News Network selected her blog to be one of 50 blog partners featured on OregonLive. Sage has judged the Writer’s Digest’s Non-Rhyming
Poetry Contest, taught multiple workshops at the Willamette Writers Conference, and presented to live audiences around the country.
