Paula Judith Johnson is the pen name of Teresa M. Brown, who lives on the north Oregon coast.

Ms. Brown is an avid history buff. She and her husband, Wayne, have been involved with a mountain man era black-powder club since 1985. In addition to shooting reproduction muzzleloader rifles, pistols, and shotgun they enjoy activities that include throwing knives, tomahawks, and spears.
